Milestones

1968
Spyros Marketos founds the first refrigeration unit service company in Greece.
1970
Start of partnership with ZIM Lines.
1982
Konstantinos Talaros acquired a significant stake in the company and his technical expertise brought new momentum and direction.
1993
Self-funded construction of the body shop in Aspropyrgos.
1999
First ATP-certified refrigerated body.
2004
Exclusive representation of Cold Car S.p.A. in Greece. Introduction of eutectic technology to the Greek market.
2009
Monitoring contract with Piraeus Container Terminal for plug-in / plug-out of all port reefer containers.
2012
Award ceremony for Spyros Marketos by ZIM Lines for 42 years of impeccable partnership, at the event celebrating the company's 50th anniversary.
2013
Authorisation by Carrier Transicold as Service Center for reefer containers. Start of service at Piraeus and Thessaloniki ports.
2017
Upgraded to Carrier Transicold Advanced Service Center (Container Division). Authorised access to container terminals in Piraeus and Thessaloniki.
2018
Authorisation by Daikin Reefer as Service Center for reefer containers.
Today
Two facilities in Attica. Monitoring contracts with PCT, COSCO, Hyundai, ZIM Lines.
